In the early 1970s, Maurizio Barcelloni-Corte recognised the great potential for development in the telecommunications sector and sets up Teleimpianti S.p.A. in Bologna. It was 1974.

Thanks to his technical, personal and entrepreneurial skills, the company takes on an important role in the Italian industrial landscape and quickly expands into other areas. These included in particular, data transmission, which at the time was almost completely unknown, but which today is essential for all economic and industrial development; and electronic security, which is now equally important and indispensable for processing information.

During those years, Teleimpianti also installs the first cameras in video surveillance systems, as well as the first alarm sensors that used radar technology. In that period, Teleimpianti was also one of the first companies in Europe to import American access control systems, which were unheard of in Italy, and installed them in industrial and banking security applications. It also employed these technologies for the first time in the hospitality sector.

Through technological partnerships with world leaders in the sector, Teleimpianti evolved from being just an installation company into a systems integrator, or rather, a designer of innovative solutions for telecommunications, security and special installations.

Today Teleimpianti S.p.A., with its head office in Bologna and branches in Modena and Milan, is an engineering company that operates throughout Italy and is specialised in the design, installation and maintenance of communication systems, security systems and building automation solutions focused on comfort and energy savings.

The team of systems engineers is able to design, configure and integrate complex solutions for the automation of technological systems. Its vision goes beyond the concept of Industry 4.0 and aims to make special systems communicate with each other to ensure the highest level of company control, a high standard of comfort and a significant reduction in energy consumption.

Teleimpianti S.p.A. has a technical department dedicated exclusively to "full-service" maintenance that is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. This service allows the systems to be kept in perfect working order and continuously updated in order to protect the customer’s investment in the best possible way.
